Sam and Sophie

We're getting married!

Please join us for our wedding celebration on September 19, 2026.

Devon, England

We've created this website to share all the details. Think of it as your essential guide to our big day. If you have any questions (or you just fancy a wedding-related chat), please get in touch. Probably with Sophie; Sam's busy looking at fancy cars for hire.

We’re tying the knot at a joyful house nestled in Devon. Picture classic country-house charm, friendly cows as the backdrop, and acres of beautiful countryside perfect for ambling walks with a hot toddy or two. We’re praying for sunshine, but this is Devon in September, so... no promises. Either way, we’d love you to join the fun.

Tennis rackets at the ready for anyone who fancies a match. There's also a pool on-site (fair warning, it's not heated) so only the brave need apply! If that's not enough, there's a sauna and cold plunge too. And for the truly adventurous cold-water swimmers among you, the beach isn't far.

Can’t wait to celebrate all things L-O-V-E with you.

Getting there

Whether you're heading down from Manchester, crossing the Irish Sea from Dublin, or making the trip from San Francisco or New York, here's how to find us in deepest Devon.

If you're flying internationally, London Heathrow (LHR) or Gatwick (LGW) will have the best connections. From there you can hire a car or catch a train down to Devon. For domestic or European flights, Exeter (EXT), Bristol (BRS) or Newquay (NQY) are all close to the venue, so take your pick.

Honiton is the nearest train station, and from there you'll need to grab a taxi for the final leg of the journey.

If you're driving from London, it's roughly a 3.5-hour journey (traffic gods willing). There's parking available at Glebe House for up to 15 cars.

Where to stay

There are some gorgeous places to stay near the venue. Here are a few of our favourites:

If you're struggling to find somewhere, let us know! We can certainly help.

Dress code?

Suited and booted (wellingtons encouraged!)

Inside or outside?

The ceremony will take place inside a church, then we'll head back to the venue for drinks reception outside (fingers crossed for sunshine). Dinner and dancing will be under a marquee, where we're hoping it will be toasty. Do bring a cardigan or jacket though JIC.

Plus ones?

We're keeping the guest list limited to those we've already invited due to capacity. Apologies to loved ones holding the fort at home. We wish we could have everyone!

When does it end?

The clock strikes at midnight.

We’re lucky enough to have everything we need (except maybe matching luggage). If you’d like to mark the occasion, a small contribution to our honeymoon fund would be wonderful. But truly, just having you there is what matters most.

There will also be a postbox at the venue for any cards.
